Trixie joined the funeral industry when she was 19. She trained and became qualified at Gee & Hickton, Lower Hutt before working in Melbourne for 3 years. She came back to New Zealand and had a short break before starting her own locum embalming/Funeral Director business serving the Wairarapa, Wellington and Palmerston North.
The Duckett Family love to go Hunting, Fishing, Camping and wakeboarding together in their spare time.
Bronwen Nicholas
Funeral Director
Originally from Wainuiomata Bronwen has lived in Featherston for 16 years with her husband Joe Nicholas and two children Bianca and Nadia. Joe is a painter, and Bronwen worked as a Machinist, making soft furnishings before becoming a mother. Now both children are at school, Bronwen decided now was the time to follow her dream of becoming a Funeral Director. In their spare time the Nicholas Family like to Fishing, Camping, and Clay Target shooting
